Victoria Police will lay hundreds of additional charges against a junior doctor who allegedly placed recording devices in staff toilets at several Melbourne hospitals.
With the 775 further charges officers expect to lay today, Ryan Cho is now facing 908 offences.
Detectives first charged the trainee surgeon, who was then employed at the Austin Hospital, with stalking after his colleagues allegedly found a camera in a restricted staff toilet on July 3.
Mr Cho was charged with more offences in the following weeks, including the laying of 127 charges related to alleged offending at the Austin Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in August.
The charges expected to be laid on Wednesday were part of an ongoing investigation.
They cover a range of offences — including stalking, producing an intimate image and installing an optical surveillance device — related to alleged offending at the three hospitals.
Police said their investigation has not uncovered evidence of alleged offending at any new facilities.
The investigation is ongoing.
