In short:

A wedge-tailed eagle's nest was moved to bushland near the Bundaberg Hospital construction site in December 2024.

Despite efforts, the wedge-tailed eagles have not returned to lay eggs.

What's next?

Biodiverse Environmental will continue to monitor the nest and other wildlife at the site.
