Charges laid after 'trail of destruction' and rock thrown at firefighters in regional SA

Two alleged trespassers were charged over a series of events in which police say a car was "driven directly" at another vehicle and later found in flames after veering into scrub.

A Berri man and Valley View woman were arrested nearby.

In a separate incident, a Murray Bridge man, who allegedly started a fire and then threw a rock at firefighters, was arrested.
