Broken Hill man wins appeal of sentence for animal cruelty offences

In short:

A 21-year-old Broken Hill man who was sentenced to 14 months' imprisonment for animal cruelty in July has been released into the community to serve the remainder of his intensive correctional order. 

District Court Judge Clive Jeffreys reduced his sentence to a nine month intensive correctional order which he can serve in the community.

What's next?

Johnson must not commit any offence and continue to see his psychologist for the remainder of his sentence.
