In short:

A rabbi and security guards at Heaton Park Synagogue have been hailed as "heroes" after they stopped a terror attacker from getting inside the building.

Two Jewish people were killed and three more were injured when a man drove a car into a crowd near the synagogue in Manchester.

British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer said "there is no doubt whatsoever that they have prevented an even greater tragedy".
