Program: Anthony Albanese addresses United Nations

Space to play or pause, M to mute, left and right arrows to seek, up and down arrows for volume.

For the first time since becoming Prime Minister more than three years ago, Anthony Albanese has delivered an address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

In the process he's distanced himself and the nation he leads from views espoused by US President Donald Trump, laid out in his own address yesterday, during which he challenged the legitimacy of the UN, and described climate change as a "con job".
